Funda Demirel.

She graduated from METU Department of Mathematics in 1989. In the same year, she became a research assistant at METU Mathematics Department. She completed her master’s degree in the Department of Applied Mathematics at METU Institute of Science in 1992 and received her doctorate degree from Ankara University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Technology in 2007. Between 1995-2012 she worked at the Ministry of Economy as a branch manager in the Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade and she worked as a part time lecturer between
2008-2010 between she Turkey Middle East Public Administration Institute (TODAIE) and TOBB Economics and Technology University. At the ministry she worked as a project manager, expert, consultant and researcher in projects supported by organizations such as the Ministry of Economy, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, TODAİE, TÜBİTAK, UNICEF, the Ministry of National Education and private educational institutions. She worked as a Board Member in METU Alumni Association and as a coordinator and researcher in the Education Policies Commission. She also assumed the leadership of the Distance Education Working Group and supported projects for 9-12 year old children. After training and working in the United States, in 2013, she created Turkey’s first Brain Training Center Forbrin Learning Center. Since 2017, at Forbrain , she provides services in training and consultancy on how to teach, how to learn, how to develop mathematical intelligence, how to improve cognitive skills (attention, concentration, processing speed, memory, logic and reasoning, visual and auditory processing, planning, organization, etc.).
